Educational Technologies I use:

Moodle – An open-source system for managing courses including grades, discussion forums, automated homework and messaging. I prefer this over UCSD’s enterprise TED/BlackBoard system.

clickersiClicker – An interactive device for surveying students’ understanding in real-time. UCSD’s Center for Teaching Development advocates progressive techniques for getting the most out of clicker technology, which I am still working on. (see example video)
